Hail Satan?

It's an attention getter. He doesn't believe Satan was real, that Satan is a fairy tale. He says hail Satan, which he got that from Socrates, he calls that the gadfly, it gets people out of their normal frame of thinking and gets them to pay attention. He thinks it's all a fairy tale...

beyond that... Satan refers to (cleverly, because it's the villain of Christian mythos) that which was virtuous which came before (which Christians aimed to erase):

When Dr. Hillman says Hail Satan, we can get scared by that because someone told us Satan is evil.  That's just surface fear irrationality. It's a dog whistle to monists (Christians / Judaics / Islamists) that this person is to be feared. But, if we really understand the information from the Ancient Greek sources Ammon cites, we'll know what is behind the “Hail Satan” that Ammon is referring to.  Anyone born in Western Culture (heavily influenced by monism!) would think "how could anything good be behind that?", but Ammon will tell us about the ancient bronze age origins of STR, Saturn, the Muse, Medea (the original / first christ, founder of med-icine), Aphrodite, Venus, the Morning Star, and how they all stand for knowledge, justice, truth, and then you'd smack your head "oh, that's code, and it's NOT evil".  Monists were just trying to change people's minds by reframing things to "not our ideology == bad"...  Monists were erasing culture by reframing the old culture as “bad” while creating a new culture as “good”.  We must think critically and understand, and look past the fear to “the real”.  

tldr: Let's be clear:

• Monist Satan as they define it is propaganda, it's the backalley brothel trying to sell you on a false idea
  • Here, Satan has been distorted and reframed from definitions of Saturn / Kronos & Venus.
  • Basically they've lumped in anything "not monism" as Satan and as evil.
  • This isn't intellectually fair... and it's culture erasure
• Pre-monism Satan was not evil, under pre-monist definitions
  • Similarly, Paganism is also not evil...
  • These and other words, were reframed by those who "won", to move people's minds to the new order... They even made penalties for not following this, called Heresies, sometimes enforced by law with serious consequences. This is the action of tyrants.
  • To understand, we must look to bronze age Kronos & Medea
• Dr Hillman means Hail Satan virtuously, and to wake you up.

Hail Satan is that gadfly sting that wakes you up.  Same as Eros (love), same as a drug trip, same as a poignant realization of logic.

Satan is the one that lead the rebellion against Yahu, cuz Yahu is a liar. The account in Genesis clearly shows that Satan was helping Eve. They performed the mystery and her eyes were opened... knowing good and evil...

Lord Byron tells us who the real evil one is. Liberating? Yes absolutely. It's meant to lead you into deeper mysteries and studies. On the surface, the phrase seems rather hedonistic, and it is. However the phrase is also true. Hail Satan. Hail those against the tyrannical, murderous, genocidal Abrahamic God. Hail the one that saves humankind and opens their eyes. Hail reason. Know thyself, not God.

When Dr. Hillman says "hail satan" he is referring to the classical version of "Satan," i.e. iosphorus, the dawn bringer, Artemis, Aphrodite, Bacchus, Dionysus, Eros. In hellenstic Paganism, these "beings" are not separate as we think of them with our modern Western understanding. They are aspects of one another. They overlap, TRANSform(emphasis on trans), and mingle in a staggering number of ways.

When Dr. Hillman is calling the modern Abraham religions satanic he is talking about the complete and utter perversion of what happened to the original hellenstic mystery that even the people in antiquity thought was disgusting and reprehensible. This is why the Romans were attempting to stomp out the lestes in the Mediterranean in the first place. Which is why jesus got arrested in a public park with a naked boy. Because the Romans were on alert for these mystery cult practices(which included abduction).

I'll admit Dr. Hillman can be hard to follow, but i think it's because he has basically been to the abyss and back through these texts, and it takes a toll on the psyche.

It is the archetype of the liberator, the challenger of blind obedience, and the bringer of knowledge. It is not an accident that "know thyself" stands in opposition to "know God" in this context. One leads to personal enlightenment, the other to subjugation. And perhaps, as Prometheus brought fire, Satan brings gnosis.

Ammon has expressed himself as a secular person. Claiming the things worth worshipping are Reason, Justice, Arts, etc,.. The Hail Satan is something to shock people into inquiry. Of course, church-heads don't like it and that's part of the point. Ammon has also said that even though it's all a fairytale, he would side with Satan in the story because he told the truth! He gave humanity the gift of knowledge. These are much better attributes compared to Yhwh, the liar and murderer.

Hail Satan has it's own vocabulary, it has it's own master roots, like the root 'στρ' (sigma, tau, rho). We can use this root to trace the pharmacology of the culture, ἱστορία (historía) is what you ask the prophetess, it is your question, she is the σωτήρ (sótér), the saviour, she will put you into a state of οἶστρος (oístros), what is οἶστρος? It is the gadfly, it's their word for the gadfly, and the gadfly stings, what does the gadfly do? The gadfly brings you the Satanic vision! Is Satan real? Satan is as real as the sunlight that you are absorbing right now! Christing is not just a drug! It's a sex drug people!!!!!!

Holy shit! Mind blown! For the first time I think I see what he means by the roots 'στρ' and being able to follow them!!!! Maybe like DNA markers in the language and they become the star map we navigate with to fly the Millennian Falcon!
