Jesus on the Cross
The modern christian symbol is the cross, which refers to when Jesus was arrested, tried, and found guilty of the crime of Lestes, hung between two other Lestes. Punishment by crucifixion was reserved for the most heinous of crimes, such as Piracy, or Plundering of Souls (trafficking).
- Lestes is not insurrection (that's a different word).
- Theivery was NOT severe enough to be punishable by crucifixion.
